Accounting/Office Administrator The Accounting/Office Administrator performs a variety of accounting, invoicing, reception, clerical support/coordination, data entry and DMV title work duties to assist in the daily operations of the Greeley retail store and distribution center. Regular duties include use of QuickBooks to manage accounting transactions for the retail stores and work with corporate accounting to ensure retail store accounts are reconciled, creating spreadsheets using Excel to assist parts, sales and service departments, entering parts and repair orders into AS400 computer system, collecting payments and processing credit card transactions, and performing store telephone and walk-in customer reception. A high school diploma or GED is required. Experience operating a multi-line telephone system, office operations, and basic skills in accounting and Microsoft Word and Excel are preferred. Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously is essential. This position is located at the Greeley, CO retail store.

Distribution Center Operations Assistant The Distribution Center Operations Assistant performs a variety of administrative support duties to assist in the daily operations of the Regional Distribution Center in Columbia, TN. Responsibilities include telephone and walk-in reception, taking orders and providing order shipping status information to dealers, Entering orders into AS400 computer system and generating invoices, processing credit memos, processing export documentation for international parts orders, and maintaining spreadsheets and customer service documentation. A high school diploma or GED and experience working in an office environment are required. Experience in AS400 operating system, word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet applications (Excel), Internet, and e-mail is preferred. This position is located at the Columbia, TN Distribution Center.

Product Support Technician – The position supports KNA personnel and dealers in solving after sale service issues for products marketed by Kuhn North America. Duties include investigating warranty claims by performing failure analysis, assisting the Electronics Technician with scale repairs, assisting with the creation of product support documentation by testing repair procedures, reconditioning/repairing equipment, and assisting with trades shows and product/field demonstrations. An Associate Degree in Agricultural Mechanics, Agricultural Equipment Technology or related degree program is preferred. Basic knowledge and skills in the areas of customer service, mechanics/repair, electronics, hydraulics, welding, and torch cutting is preferred. Application knowledge and experience in word processing (Word), spreadsheet applications (Excel), database management (Lotus Notes), Internet, and e-mail is preferred.

Design Engineer – This position is responsible for design and development of components and subsystems based on customer needs, manufacturability, safety, and cost, including development and maintenance of BOMs for new and existing assemblies and products. Proficiency in CAD (ProE/CREO) and knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, and machining is essential. A farm background is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in agricultural or mechanical engineering and ag/industrial design engineering experience is required.

Field Support Representative (Southeast US) – We are currently seeking a Field Support Representative to support dealers in the Southeast US (Florida, Alabama, Georgia, and North & South Carolina) in preventing and solving after sale service issues for products marketed by Kuhn in North America. Responsibilities include serving as the after sales service representative for dealers in the region, responding in-person or via telephone to inquiries regarding questions on after sales service issues, product uses or applications, train dealership personnel on KNA services and service of products, supporting regional sales staff by working farm shows and demonstrating products, and perform field service campaigns. The position requires at least 75% travel in the region.

An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in agricultural mechanics or agricultural engineering technology and knowledge of the ag. equipment industry is preferred. The position requires knowledge and skills in the areas of customer service, mechanics/repair, electronics, hydraulics, welding, and torch cutting. Application knowledge and experience in word processing (Word), spreadsheet applications (Excel), database management (Lotus Notes), presentation software (PowerPoint) Internet, and e-mail is preferred.

Manufacturing Engineer – The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for driving continuous improvement in all manufacturing operations within an assigned product line and establishing and maintaining safe and efficient production processes, with the objective of reducing cost of manufacturing while improving quality. Activities include leading projects to analyze engineering designs, procurement procedures, manufacturing methods, staffing requirements and machine utilization, material routing and handling methods, tool design and application, etc., acting as project leader/liaison and coordinate activities with manufacturing production departments, production/inventory control and design engineering departments, developing manufacturing processes/procedures/work instructions and routings and developing economic justification for capital equipment. A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering and/or five years engineering experience in a heavy industrial environment is required. Technical competency in steel fabrication, welding, machining, or paint finishing and thorough knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes is also required. 3-D CAD knowledge required, Pro-E/Creo is preferred.

Parts Inventory Planner The Parts Inventory Planner is responsible for the accurate planning, scheduling, and expediting of repair parts to satisfy current customer demand and anticipated demand by utilizing and maintaining electronic tools and product/process knowledge. Regular duties include review all system reports to determine appropriate action (order, expedite/de-expedite, cancel, transfer, maintain input data, etc.) based on inventory changes, demand, and projections, initiate parts expediting activities by communicating with appropriate Purchasing or Production/Inventory Control group, create and maintain item data and information (lead times, order multiples, min/max, etc.) in AS400 system to ensure the most accurate output, and review ECNs and implement data and inventory changes to align with engineering changes. A high school diploma or GED and experience working in an inventory control environment is required. Knowledge of and experience in the areas of customer service, inventory, logistics, agricultural equipment and intermediate computer skills (MS Word and Excel, ERP/AS400, Internet, and e-mail is preferred.

Retail Sales Representative – The Retail Sales Representative is responsible for maximizing the sale of all Kuhn, Kuhn Krause and Kuhn Knight products and services at the Lexington, NE retail store location. Regular duties include sales calls and product demonstrations to prospective agricultural customers, response to customer inquiries and training, representation at tradeshows, completion of sales and inventory documentation, and collection of accounts. An agricultural and mechanical background and advanced education and/or experience in marketing, sales, or business is preferred. A valid driver’s license is required and CDL is preferred. Opportunity available at the Lexington, NE retail store.

Technical Support Specialist This position is a member of the Product Support team and serves as the technical expert for assigned hay tool products and supports KNA personnel and dealers in solving after sales service issues. Responsibilities include collaborating with other KNA departments to diagnose & solve product service and performance issues, reviewing and processing warranty claims, developing service bulletins and written service instructions, and creating and conducting service training programs. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in agricultural mechanics or agricultural engineering technology is preferred. The position requires knowledge and skills in the areas of customer service, mechanics/repair, electronics, hydraulics, welding, and torch cutting.

Tooling Designer – The Tooling Designer utilizes CAD software extensively and occasionally hand sketches to design welding, machining, and assembly fixtures for manufacturing. Duties include designing fixtures and tooling in Pro Engineer/CREO and making detailed 2D prints of all components; fabricating or modifying custom equipment, fixtures, and tooling for use in manufacturing; and introducing tooling and fixturing designs to custom fabrication and production and training employees on its proper use. Advanced education in engineering or manufacturing or three years’ experience in manufacturing required. The position requires knowledge and basic skills in the areas of machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, and CAD software. Pro Engineer/CREO experience is preferred.

Custom Fabrication Technician (2nd Shift) – Perform various duties related to prototype and general shop support including the layout, build, maintenance, and repair of developmental work, tooling and material handling devices. The position requires knowledge and basic skills in the areas of machining, metal fabrication, welding, torch and plasma cutting, grinding, assembly, and dimensional layout. A qualified candidate must have in depth knowledge of blueprint reading, at least one major skill-set of welding or machining or metals fabrication, basic skills and experience in others.

Paint Prep (1st & 2nd Shifts) – This general labor position involves preparation of the unit for the paint process; power washing, scraping, sanding, and material handling. The ability to use basic hand tools is required, with occasional forklift operation. Full or part-time opportunities.

Painter (2nd Shift)This position involves painting parts and units with an electrostatic spray gun while conforming to established quality standards. A vocational diploma in auto body and paint technology, with knowledge of coatings, coating systems, and electrostatic spray coating is preferred. Ability to read basic blueprints and measuring devices and wear a fully enclosed hood type air supplied respirator is required.

Welder (2nd Shift)Seeking skilled welders to weld unit shells, sub-assemblies and components. A vocational diploma in welding or a minimum of two years production welding experience is required. Experience in GMAW and flux cored arc welding, blue print reading and operating material handling equipment is preferred. Full or part-time opportunities.

Assembly (2nd Shift) – The position involves assembly and installation of sub-assemblies, parts and options on unit shells. The position requires a mechanical aptitude, the ability to operate a forklift and power tools, interpret blueprints and measuring devices, and perform basic math functions. Full or part-time opportunities.

CNC Machinist (2nd Shift)The position requires set up and operation of machining equipment including various drill presses, manual/CNC lathes and mills. The position requires the ability to operate measuring and material handling equipment, read blueprints and perform basic math functions. A vocational diploma in machine tool and production machining experience is preferred.

Fabrication (2nd Shift) – Seeking operators of fabrication equipment including shear, brake press, punch press, saw and NC backgauge. The position requires the ability to read blueprints, complete fabrication measurements, operate forklift, overhead crane, and sheet lifters. Experience operating fabrication equipment is preferred.

Maintenance (2nd Shift)Seeking an individual with a strong background in electrical maintenance with at least two years manufacturing maintenance experience and/or a technical diploma in electro/mechanical maintenance. The position will require install, repair and maintain metal fabricating equipment, including CO2 laser and plasma cutting machines, press brakes and shears, and MIG welding systems supporting production operations. Strong skills in industrial electricity, CNC, hydraulics, high pressure air, welding, torch cutting, carpentry, plumbing, and heating are preferred. Full or part-time opportunities.

Material Handler (2nd & 4th Shifts)Seeking individuals with forklift experience to transport of required cell components from receiving, warehouses & department staging areas. Individual is required to read basic blueprints, maintain and complete accurate documentation & inventory. Ability to use computer warehouse receiving and inventory systems is preferred.

Parts Distribution Warehouse (2nd Shift) The position involves receiving, picking, packing and shipping service/repair parts. A basic understanding of parts inventory, keyboarding, and basic math skills, ability to operate a forklift / work assist vehicle, ability to work from heights, and frequently lift/move up to 35 lbs. is required. Ag/Farm equipment knowledge is a plus. The successful candidate must possess effective verbal and written communications skills.

Warehouse Clerk Under the daily direction of the Operations Manager, the employee is responsible for distribution of machines and repair parts, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and related documentation. A basic understanding of parts inventory, keyboarding and basic math skills are preferred. The hours of the position are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday. A high school diploma or GED, ability to operate a forklift, and frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds is required for all positions. This position is based at the Columbia, TN Distribution Center.

SHIFT WORK SCHEDULES

1st Shift: M – Th, 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM

2nd Shift: M – Th, 3:15 PM to 1:15 AM
4th/Weekend Shift: Fri – Sun, 5 AM to 5 PM
